Tuesday Grandma was up and walking around, had dinner in the dining room, navigated all the halls and elevators with her walker and felt great. Then the next couple days her blood pressure was low again and she had to go down to dinner in a wheelchair. Aunt Julie, Aunt Cathy and Aunt Helen have been cooking up all kinds of wonderful things in her kitchen trying to help her gain some weight!
Meanwhile Grandpa took a spill this week and had to have some stitches on his forehead. He has been unhappy with the idea of getting around with a walker but maybe he will be more motivated to use one if it keeps him out of the emergency room! His residence continues to be a great place for him and he keeps busy with the many activities they provide.
